Privacy Manifesto

1. The Philosophy of Non-Collection

At Natal Map, we operate on a radical principle: What we don't have, we cannot lose, sell, or be forced to reveal. Unlike traditional web applications that function as data vacuums, our architecture is designed as a mirror—it only reflects what you provide in the moment.

We do not use databases to store user-provided birth data. Every calculation is performed locally within your browser's execution environment using JavaScript.

2. Local Storage & Session Dynamics

When you use our tools, the birth details you enter remain within your browser's volatile memory. Once you close the browser tab or refresh the page, this data is purged from the system. We do not use "LocalStorage" or "IndexedDB" to persist your birth data across sessions unless you explicitly opt-in for a "Remember Me" feature (if available in future versions).

3. Infrastructure & Third-Party Logs

Our website is hosted on static infrastructure. When you access our site, the hosting provider's servers may automatically log your IP address, browser type, and time of access. This is standard technical logging for security and delivery optimization and is not linked to any astrological data you input.

We utilize trusted Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) for assets like fonts (Google Fonts) and icons (FontAwesome). These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle the requests for these assets.

4. Zero Tracking Policy

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, or any other cross-site tracking mechanisms. Your journey through the stars is private, and we have no interest in building a consumer profile for you. We measure our success by the quality of our tools, not by the volume of user data we hoard.

5. Your Rights & Data Portability

Under regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, users have rights regarding their data. Because we do not collect or store your personal information, many of these rights (such as the right to deletion or the right to access) are fulfilled by default through our architectural design.
